about
A song I'd been working on for a while, it started with the simple Pokémon-healing sample, and gradually I built upon it, adding a vocal line and generally everything else you hear, haha. Very pleased with how it turned out and how it's been received on the whole.
lyrics
Hey, oh. Way, oh. (x4)
It's my mistake, my bad, I know
And I'm not often one to let it show
But I've gotta get this off my chest
We could've been the very best
You gave me everything you had, and on that day
I took it all, and I just turned the other way
It's my mistake, my bad, I know,
And I've got one more thing to say (one more thing to say).
I've been wondering if you could hear me out
'Cause I've had tonnes of time to stop and think it out (out),
You're seeing red from what I said, and I can only hope that I might see you again.
It's my mistake and now I know
But I wanna move on, I wanna let it go
But I messed up, and now I see
I'm better off when you're with me
Since you've been gone, I've noticed nothing is the same
But I made the call, and I know I'm the one to blame.
It's my mistake, my bad, I know
And I've got one more thing to say (one more thing to say)
I was wondering if you could heal me now
'Cause I have come so far that I'm about to black out
Now that I'm dead, how 'bout instead we take a breath
And think of all those better times, bring me to life
And promise me someday that I might see you again
(I might see you again x4)
Hey, oh. Way, oh. (x4)
